I am looking for links to portrait photographers, past and present. I am looking for people that push the edge. Not really looking for traditional photographer unless they are just amazing.

I picked up a copy "Living in Wales" by David Hurn last week. Understated, relaxed, but extremely powerful portraits from his home country. This book is well worth getting hold of.

Some of the images from this book are in the Contemporary Portraits portfolio at: David Hurn, Magnum.
