Greetings from Portugal,

I am having trouble accessing fan in my super chromega c. The fan is inside a black box attached at the back of the enlarger head.
This black box has two screws at the top. I dont see any more screws on the box and after removing these, the box seems to be 'glued' at the bottom making it impossible to remove.

Not easy to find information about this enlarger. Does anyone knows how to disassemble it or be able to assist me?

Thanks.
.

In fact there are 4 screws. 2 are a bit hiden when looking from the outside.
When looking inside the, already removed, box one can more clearly see the 4 screws. The hiden ones are at the bottom of the pic.

Now the funny part. I thought this was a fan like the ones in any laptop, but is seems to be an industrial thing.

Any idea would be much appreciated. Meanwhile during the operation the lamp stop working. No energy on the cables that link to the pin terminal.

Regards.

I have the same enlarger, let me check my documentation and see if I have any helpful information.

The original ad that I have for this enlarger says, "A silent, vibration-free cooling fan is built directly into the lamphouse." Super helpful.
But I do have the lamphouse assembly instructions:

Hopefully that is helpful.

Thank you very much. It realy did help.
With this schema, I managed to pull it out. Thanks.

The fan is now working, but the lamp is not. I think is now better to send it to a professional electronics repair.

Regards.

but the lamp is not.

I think the lamp is this style. The quartz halogen lamp is good for approximately 50 hours of actual on-time. The replacement lamp is Catalog Number 471033. Obviously, the catalog number is obsolete, but I think that's the right bulb. I can check mine later.
