Family photo archive

Hi,

I'd like to share with you the blogs I am maintaining with a selection of photos from my family's archive. I have one blog specifically devoted to the negatives on glass plates that my great-grandfather took around 1895 in Barcelona.

I am now starting to digitalize and organize the thousands of photos and slides that I have from my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents (other than the glass plates). While I scan, I'll be showing some of the photos in another BlogSpot.

If you're curious and want to have a look I'd be very happy, and if you have ideas on how to better showcase the pictures or on some other platform more adequate for this kind of endeavor than BlogSpot, that would also be great.

A fascinating project. I wish I had anything even close from my own family. Of course, neither side of my ancestry lived in an area even remotely as historic and interesting as Barcelona! Some of the photos from the glass plates compare well with any of the latest technology.
