Family Camera - ROM

Spent an hour at the ROM's special exhibition about the family camera and consequently about the images one takes of one's family. It's surreal how, no matter the cultural background of the snapper, subjects can be predictably classified. And how uncanny similar the composition.

That predictability made it into the algorythms of the printers at the industrial labs.

Unless you were able to see more than the 5 photos that are displayed directly from the link, the composition is a reflection upon the selection committee ( if any, this being Ontario) rather than the availability of family snapshots.

There are far more in the exhibition. There are hundreds. Regardless, I'll give you that.
