i have just developed my first row of foma 200 35mm film and I am astonished with the results. I'll try to find a scanner ASAP to post the results but I am very impressed. I developed together w ilford 400, using home brew D23 developer and side to side at first glance the contrast is way greater in 200. Cheers

If you develop the Ilford film longer, it also will have high contrast.

Glad you like it. Maybe D23 is the answer. I've never been real hot on the Foma, although I've only used it in 120. I think the base is flimsy and curly. I did like their IR, which is now discontinued.

I absolutely love the 200 and am learning to love the 100. For the 200 I use PMK Pyro and ei 125. For the 100 I use HC110, 10 minutes, and use ei 80 (so far). ANd the best part is that both are under $40US for 100 ft rolls.
