FAK 135 to 120 adapter : some pics

and I'd like to share my experience with FAK 135 adapter.
I've used it before but I lost it ... yes, fortunately I've found it in one of the drawers of the kitchen !!! Hahahaha
I've test it again with Pentax 6x7 MLU and the SMC 67 45/4 lens. A kind of xpan wannabe.
I'm very happy with the results. Of course they could be much better. I need some mask to frame the view according to the format (24x70cm). I also need to find out why I've got scratches in some pics. I remember that this happened me the first time I used a couple of years ago (or more)But I was able to solve it... I don't remember how ;-)
For these pics a used the waist-level viewfinder. It's spectacular.

It gives good effects for panorama. I am not sure that a close-up of a person in such a setting makes it better. The second picture of her with the dog from the waist upwards is better than the head-shot which looks a little strange in such a wide panorama

I've used the Mamiya 7 adapter and like the results. I've heard that using the adapter can damage the camera - I don't know how much I believe this, but it has made me cautious to use the adapter. I've used another adapter (something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/35mm-to-12...599350?hash=item3aef8562b6:g:chIAAOSwol5YzsJw) with folding cameras and find film advance unreliable (slipping?). It takes some practice to frame the shot. I like the wide pano, so I'll give it a go again.

Your results look great with the adapter.

I wouldn't expect the 35mm adapters I've seen to damage a camera -- they're just spool ends to center a 135 cassette and provide compatible drive for use in a 120 camera. I've now got three sets of those -- two pair of 35mm only that I use in the 220 back on my RB67, and a set that includes an adapted takeup spool to ensure centered takeup (came with my new pinhole camera).

There are/were 35mm adapters for some medium format cameras that included a frame mask, cover for the ruby window, and some means to correct or manage the frame spacing. Yashica 635, for instance, was a 6x6 TLR that had a 35mm adapter (when new).

Mercury Camera sells an adapter that includes a replacement film gate of RB67 back in addition to the spools for 35mm film.

I just went and looked -- apparently that's for use with the Mercury system camera bodies. The film back side of it isn't illustrated, but seems just like the "hacks" they mention (unload in a darkroom or changing bag, waste 2-4 7cm frames at the start for loading) -- but their frame mask is added onto the mating surface of the RB67 film back and would interfere with mounting to the Graflok, as well as interfering with the dark slide interlock between the film back and camera body. Easier, in my opinion, to fabricate a drop-in (from inside the back, with the insert out for loading) mask from model builders' sheet plastic (I don't have a 3D printer), and be able to choose during loading whether to use the mask or not, while preserving the dark slide interlock (which I like a lot -- can't release the shutter with the dark slide in).

Furthermore, I can fabricate a frame mask for around $10 in materials -- one $6 package of sheet polystyrene, dollar pack of super glue from the dollar store or similarly priced tube of plastic model cement, and a can of black spray paint.

Thank you I think that a wide angle lens is not a good option for close-ups ... I agree. I just was curious !!!

I've also read about that danger ... but I cannot imagine "how"
I've used the FAK135 adapter with a folding 6x6 camera. It's more difficult to use but the reason is that you need to calculate how much turns make a new frame:
