My Mitsubishi Gekko FB 8x10s are still flat and pristine after 40 years of face to face and back to back storage. I'm not in nearly as good condition after all those years in a variety of positions. Maybe you young squirts can take notice, do your dancing cheek to cheek, and stay younger than I did.
Face to face and back to back are the same thing unless there is interleaving paper between each pair. You see, it depends on which 'pair' you are thinking about.
Emulsion tends to stick strongly to emulsion with glossy prints if the humidity goes up.
thanks to you who have so far all taken part in my goofy survey.
lately i have been making 5 from each negative - contact prints.
i wash them face to face/back to back and dry them face down,
and then when i store them (pre mount / pre envelope)
they snooze face to face/back to back again.
i have always had good luck that way
-- my paper has a mind of its own and likes to curls if i line them up ...
so i wondered if anyone else does the same thing.
