F100 - Display issue LCD

Dear friends,

well, remember my F100? For whatever reason, the back button, focus mode selector works fine now.
Its only - the LCD is not backlit, when pressing the on switch in this selection. But the backlit LED is not
faulty, i checked the custom settings, and there's a setting, when you can turn it on, and press any
button for off. Well, when i do this - i see the turquoise backlight. Weird.

Anything else is working as it should be, and the F100 filmdoor is also not sticky, looks mint -
so i think, i leave it as it is?

I think so too. It sounds like a perfectly functional camera apart from this odd LCD backlight behavior.

Yes it is. Occasionally, to keep things smooth, i do shoot it 1-3 times per year.
