Lens is in excellent shape as you can see from the photos. I simply do not use this as I now have an AF 80-200mm that I prefer. Has generic rear cap and OEM front cap. 5% to APUG if sold here.

This is the much-sought-after Rev.I designed by Ellis Betensky of NASA optical fame. Every bit as sharp as my Canon 70-200 f4L IS which has been regarded as one of their sharpest lenses ever produced. They are actually manufactured by Kiron.
They first came onto the market in early 1975, I have a February 1975 copy. This one appears to be a pre-AI.
+1... I have one of these as well and it is an absolutely wonderful piece of film gear. It smoked my AF Nikkor 70-300 so I sold that for 10 times what I payed for the Vivitar and bought some more film gear.
It's a real diamond in the rough, money doesn't buy much better glass without spending thousands, which is funny because 60 dollars doesn't buy much these days.
