Yes, I found that article as well and I got me confused as I vaguely remembered to have read somewhere that Konica used a 19mm diameter. Hence the question. It looks like I have mixed up Konica with another brand or camera.
Years ago I couldn't find a diopter for a Konica Autoreflex. I bought a Nikon diopter and had my repairman remove the glass and install it in a Konica eyepiece.
So would we all Chip, but it's probably more than thirty years since they were manufactured. The only thought that occurs to me is that Ffords in Scotland a few years ago had bought a warehouse full of new unused Canon FD camera, lenses, and accessories from a men in Glasgow who had owned them for years who was retiring, you could ask Ffords if they have any.
P.S The metal eyepiece ring and the rubber outer ring were always sold separately.
