This looks like a good idea. I consider myself easily in the 'double digit' IQ range but frankly, I don't understand how to use it. :confused:

The equation does follow the inverse square law for light but, since you re-focus the image, you also have to account for the change in your 'effective aperture.'
Personally I have no desire to turn a darkroom session into a maths session, so a test strip for me too.
