I've been browsing around on EBay, and I've noticed a large number of very old, unexposed films being sold. Many of them are from the 1950s and 1960s. I kno that some people would use these as collectors items, but is there any chance that they'd still be useable??
I've tried exposing a glass plate I found in a plate holder. I exposed it at EI 6, and got an image of sorts. But the emulsion was full of bubbles and fungus spots when I developed it
I have a pack of 2 1/4x 3 1/4 Ansco sheet film in my freezer. Expiration date was 1945. I've been trying to decide whether to bother with trying it out. Says to use type 47 developer - I guess I could mix some up.
