Exposing myself

I have 1 sheet of large format film left and want to make a self-portrait. If I do that as a reflection in a mirror how do I meter the exposure?

Using an incident light meter should I point it at the physical camera or the camera in the mirror. Likewise, if I use a reflected light meter, should I point it at the reflection? This scenario has me not only topsy-turvy (or as the spell corrector suggests: tipsy-turbulence) but laterally reversed in my thinking.

Please help me expose myself!

Use an incident meter from your position as the subject, with tee dome pointed to mimic the direction your face is pointing or use a reflected meter aimed at the reflection in the mirror.

That's a good question. I just checked with a dslr on manual, and incident metre. Pointing the incident metre at the camera or at the mirror, gave the same set of exposure combinations.

I've actually done this. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I know I didn't have much for lights back then. I'm pretty sure I used an incident meter and had it near the mirror aimed back at the camera and myself. I know the picture is on here somewhere, but way back (maybe close to 10 years ago?). I can't find it or I would have attached it. It worked better than I thought it would before I tried.
