Someone gave me a box of 220 Tri-X thinking it was unused ... but the exposed rolls were simply placed back inside the wrappers .....

So ... any suggestions as a starting place for 220 Tri-X from 1993 give you have no idea if its been heat exposed, over/under exposed ... etc.

Figure I'll do one roll near box time with about 20% extra time to compensate for ... history!

Oh come on. It's art. If they don't like it so freakin' what? I'll post one of mine if it'll make you feel better. And I define amateur.

It was just a joke ... I'm not gonna post someone's 1993 home porn, haha. I mean, beyond that, they aren't my images so I'll post an example of what I get.

Any opinions of doing stand development with film of this age?

Well this is what I did with the first two rolls today .... Rodinal 1:100 for an hour at 68, gentle inversions at 30 mins. The film came out looking ok ... but I may try a normal development on the next two .... the film base looks a little fogged, and as I'm new to stand dev I don't know if this is normal or because the film is so old. I have a feeling this will develop pretty well using normal methods.

Pics are looking like someone's family portraits, done at home ... staged sittings with kids, etc. Have to contact print and look closer tonight, but so far I'm not too excited

In my experience HC110 is pretty good for getting decent fog levels. I doubt the high base fog was the fault of Rodinal.
