I was going to buy more Neopan but I've found a whole set of five rolls at the bottom of container. But they are outdated, since July 2011. Any experience out there with expired Neopan ? Good thing is that It's been stored under good temp conditions.

thanks for comments.

Definitely OK. ISO 9002 meant that all manufacturers had to put shorte use by dates on films, actually it applies to many products it's more to do with stock rotaion than shelf life.

Films now have around 2-3 years expiry datye compared to about 5 not so many years ago. I bought short dated HP5+ a few years ago and only finished it recently about 4 years past the expiry date and it was no different to fresh film. (Stored in a drawer in Tyrkey, not a refrigerator).

Unless it's more than 8 years out of date, it should be just fine.

No. Send it to me immediately.

Just kidding! It should be fine. I've used properly stored ten-year-expired film with no problems many times. Now, the 30-year-old box of Tri-X 320 I found in the school studio was not good for much besides testing the chemistry - it did have images, but was very fogged. Your film, on the other hand, is practically new.
