I just got back a 2011 kodak bw400cn I shot at iso 200, and I seem to have blown out my highlights.
I've been told that I should expose this film like normal expired color negative film.
Here's an uncorrected scan from the roll, any opinions on what I should do since I've got more rolls I could try out?

Did you do the scans, or did you have a lab do the scans for you?
How do the negatives themselves appear - the problem could very well be with the scanning.
Can you post photos of the labs themselves?
FWIW, the scene you show might very well fool any automatic scanner.

Not scanned by me, had it professionally done by my camera shop. They are very good at scanning. I don't really have any good light in my house at this hour, or a lightbox for that matter, but the mid tones appear to be ok, the highlights/skies appear pretty black. I'll check again tomorrow morning.

As a reference, here's an uncorrectedRollei crossbird I also had my camera shop scan (and this frame proved to be difficult to color correct)

A white computer screen makes a good backlight for viewing negatives .
You can find one here: http://blank.org/
I think that the scene itself may be the culprit - white skies and reflections thereof will appear white. I do note, however, that a few moments spent on the uploaded image yields this:

maybe it is just the film? the negatives don't look that bad.
like I said, it's my first time trying expired chromogenic black and white film, and I've got more rolls to test out.
Here's one more uncorrected scan, but no blown out highlights and I think I really like this one

Well it seems to me that your lab doesn't always scan well. Matt has worked wonders with your scan in my opinion and apparently in a few minutes. Its your lab of course and if you are happy with its scanning then fine but it seems to me that the lab could do better
