Expired 4x5 Slide Film Deal

I don't shoot 4x5...but I thought this looked like quite a steal if you don't mind expired film; sealed boxes of quickload Velvia 100F for $20.

I rarely shoot color film, so I don't know much about its keeping properties, but isn't that film a bit too old, considering that it is color and that it hasn't been refrigerated?

04 isn't all that old. Besides, it's Velvia. God forbid it lose a little contrast or saturation.

I'm shooting Agfa RSX-100 from 1998 that's been stored in a freezer. It is perfectly fine. I wouldn't worry about it.
