Hi,

Have anyone purchased Tri-X or Tmax in 35mm and 120 format lately? What expiration date did you get?

Please don't morph this thread into anything else.... I just want to know the date.

From any particular shop? Or are you just trying to find the latest-dated stuff that's out in the wild?

Any shop. I would like to know what is circulating in the market today.

TMAX 400 and 100 pro packs from a couple of sources - 07/2016 for the TMAX 100 and 08/2016 for the TMAX 400.

2016 seems to be on all Kodak boxes I've seen lately

Thank you. 2016 then. Appreciate both of your input.

I bought two tmax 135 straight from wholesalers stock weekend before last

12/2016 serial 1841.

Seen the same syndrome with APX100 before if went new emulsion.

I just ordered a 10-pack (and they gave me an extra for some awesome reason) of Tri-X from B&H. Expiration date: 03/2017.

EDIT: By just, I mean they arrived like 3 hours ago.

Kodak TMY-2 100 foot roll has an expiratory date of 11/2016.

2 new 400 TX 120 Pro Packs, from Amazon, shows expiration of 12/2016.

From B&H about 3 weeks ago

So... Are you going to reveal the mysterious reason for the inquiry?

Probably just trying to find the latest expiry dates to see if they're still making it or just flogging off old stock before they announce that it's no longer made or something.

Of course, even a 2018 expiry date would prove nothing either way, they keep bulk rolls in cold storage and only put the date on once it's on spools (afaik).

I see that it still says Eastman Kodak on the box, rather than Kodak Alaris.

They sure must have a lot of those old boxes!

It's a lot simpler than that. I just wanted to know what to expect and what the norm is these days. Either that or I'm trying to take over the world with this critical information. :D

Got a brick of TX135-36 from B&H today, (shipped last week) Made in USA, Eastman Kodak 03/2017 Batch1861

I know I was doing a similar check informally on Neopan 400. Every time I bought anything from B&H I would add 10 rolls of Neopan 400. The first three digits of the emulsion number stayed the same, and second digits climbed from 001 to I think 008. And I have quite a few rolls of Neopan in my fridge at the moment.
