Hello Alternatives,
due to either high prices (up to 120 Euro/Dollar ;-) ) or poor quality for a Litre of 4% Collodion and other ingredients I am thinking about producing my own.
Rather cheap we can get nitrided batting from shops for illusionists. I know the nitration is limited by law.
Has anyone of you any experience with producing his own collodion? I think possibly the 4% couldn't be reached if the nitration is too weak.
I wouldn't attempt to produce my own cotton wool, simply too laborious and risky.
