I am looking at getting a Delta magnetic easel. Does anyone have experience using this, or a similar one? I will be making prints anwhere from 5x7 to 20x24 from both 35mm and 4x5, mostly borderless. Is it able to use multiple paper sizes? How does it keep them flat, and where do the magnets come in? I am running a shoe-string budget, so this is pretty my much only option for an easel this large. My thanks to all those who have been so helpful this far!
Hi, the magnetic bars hold 2 edges of the paper and are movable over the entire surface of the easel. They have a slight taper to hold the edge of the paper without infringing on the image. As well, there are 1 or 2 edges with tapers that are fixed position. I have an 8x10 one but haven't used it much.
I have the 20x24 and it works really well for RC, not as well for fiber which is to be expected. It will work though. You just might have to lose some of your edges not to much though and for the price you can't beat it. Yes you can use it for multiple formats. Just be creative.

The one I have came with a number of strips, each strip has a groove cut so there is space between it and the metal easel. With the bottom strip in place, the top and left side are held by the curved metal. The only problem is in the spacing on the right one
