I had to go up to London yesterday and was lucky enough to get to see the Sarah Moon Exhibition on at the Royal College of Art. The amount of work on display was incredible, some 150 black and white/colour prints nearly exclusively shot on Polaroid 55 film. The sad thing is that it’s only on for a week (17th to 25th October) so I imagine not a lot of people will be able to see it. However if you do get a chance this week I can highly recommend going as it was one of the best photography exhibitions I have seen in a very long time, anyone who is remotely interested in photography or fashion will love it.
If you miss this one the Michael Hoppen Gallery also has an exhibition of her work on until mid November, although it does not have as many of her prints on display. There is also a book, well 5 books in one package, on this work which is very well printed, quite pricey at £95 but can be bought through the internet for £65.
