I have a pair of Excalibur 3200 strobes for sale. These are 320 watt second strobes and work wonderfully for portraits. These were my main studio lights when I was running my own portrait studio.
The lights have a bunch of great features including stepless sliders for both the strobe output and the modeling light, built in optical slaves, beep or silent after each shot, and an on and off switch for the modeling light. You can run these lights with one sync cord if needed, and then use the optical slave to set off the second light. No need for radio slaves if you want to start out without them.
I paid $250 a piece for the lights. I'll sell them both for $275 plus shipping and insurance. This includes the strobes, small reflectors (as seen) and cords. Stands are not included. I will include a free little gym bag that I used to transport the lights to weddings and off site photography.
I also have a set of Photodiox softboxes that fit these lights. Main box is a 32x40" softbox, and the other is 24x32". Together these retail new for $120, I will sell the pair for $60 plus shipping and insurance. The baffles and outer fabric is white, and not discolored yellow like some older used softboxes. These will also fit on Bowens monolights, I am not sure about other brands.
Lights and softboxes together: $300 plus shipping and insurance.
This would be a great starter package for someone looking to get into studio photography, without spending a lot of money.
