I was recently visiting the Orsay Museum in Paris. I noticed on a very original photo exhibition : http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/collections/overview/actualites/photographic-display.html
The exhibition is about a French photographer of the 19th century named Charles Aubry. He took photography of still life in order to propose models to the textile industry.
All the print are original and albumen print from collodion plates. The quality of the print are incredible.
I do not think that worth to go specially to Paris. But if you have the opportunity to have a look I think that you will not be dissapointed.
