Example of same scene in colour, panchro and ortho

I have tried a search and come up empty-handed. I am pretty sure someone on Photrio on a thread about ortho v panchro film showed a very good example of the same scene with all three films, using the colour film as the standard against which to judge the effect of panchro v ortho on colours . It was a park bench with I think two toys on it.

Is this ringing bells with anybody and if so can you give the link? Thanks

Don't know the thread unfortunately, but curious as well. Just recently got into shooting Ilford Ortho Plus and am interested to see the usage ideas or limitations.

The pic (bench with toys) with different sensitizations your are refering to is shown the in "The Light Farm" by Denise Ross.
I don´t know if it is also on the web site or just in the book. If you have not read the book: it´s great, tremendous value for little money.

The examples of different spectral response are in both the book and on her website. What's great about her comparison is the use of industry-standard Macbeth charts.

Thanks all for the posts. I have never seen her book so it was certainly not there. I saw the three prints and was completely unaware of her website I feel it has had to have been here on Photrio that someone provided the three pictures. Can you supply the website link that takes me to the three prints? I got to what appears to be her website but there didn't seem to be anything labelled panchro v ortho

I assume that whomsoever posted the three prints had done so legitimately and my goal is simply to get to that post on that thread but failing that, help as to how to get the examples on her website will be appreciated

OK Stop all the presses! I found what you were referring to and what I needed under the title of Panchromatic Film on the website. No mention of CB or Ortho until you open that section on Panchro film. A bit confusing.

Denise built up that website as a blog, which I think is the primary reason it's hard to find stuff when you first visit the site. The flow is really good if you go through her site from start to finish like a book, and reading through it at least once helps when you dig for tidbits later on. Her book is a great companion to the website, building on and organizing the information in a way that's easier to flip through in the darkroom. I consider both to be one of my primary references for my own emulsion-making. Like Texereau with telescope mirror making, the info on her site is worth it's weight in silver halide.

Just find any number of old Kodak guide books on the subject. Plenty of illustrations.
