Thank you for sharing this site. Even myself was not aware of this project resp. website. (That exclusion of russian industrial sites (not people) though is weird.)

Our countries are dredged with history, to some american fellows it may look like we are living on a museum site... Though restricted to industrial history the situation changes. Sad enough it took very late into the 20th century to be generally able to regard industrial sites as cultural heritage. Some sites only survived as nobody wanted to pay demolishing, by lack of interest on the sites for new uses.
