Hi,

I have the omega B22 enlarger which is using the PH111A lamp.
I am planning to return to Europe in a few months time and I'd like to continue to use my enlarger. I am aware of the option to use it using the voltage converters (100W+). However I'd like to rebuild it to accept the European voltage.

So my questions are:
  • Is there any European equivalent to the PH111A which will accept the same "bayonet" and provide the same params as the original lamp (I am concerned about the color temp. mainly).
  • Is there any other way how to rebuild the Omega B22 enlarger to work with 220V? (Maybe to buy different light source?) Is somebody using this enlarger in EU?

Thanks for sharing the knowledge ... Stefan

I should look in the Osram conversion table. BTW. the voltage is in Europe already for years: 230V/50 Hz, UK 240V/50 Hz.

But like you already suggested, you could also use an (electronic) convertor. For bulb purposes not so heavy and relativ cheap.

best regards,

Robert
