Hi,

I'm selling my backup body. It's not a collectors item, it has been used, but not abused. Nothing broken, no dings, and no scuffs.
It comes with leica strap and manual (a bit worn).

Camera is in Finland.

Price: 650€

Cheers!

Nice camera!
It might be wise to let everyone know if your price is in Euro or US dollar

Thanks!

That's why I wrote the euro sign after the amount. You know the € ;-)
But anyway. It's in Euros yes! Don't know how much is in Dollars. I guess you can convert currency quite easy online.

Sorry about that. I thought it was 650.= ore something. I'm used to having the $ or € before the amount.
Should clean my glasses first or drink more coffee before responding :whistling:

What advantages will a Leica M6 give me over a leica M2, bearing in mind I only use a 50mm lens?

I'm not an expert about Leicas, I've never used a M2.
M4P (my favorite), M6 and M7 is all I know.
Someone can surely give you a better advise than me.
But just looking to M2 pictures I guess you can change film faster with a M6 and you gain a lightmeter on the body.

The LEICA M6 offers through-the-lens (TTL) manual light metering with over/under LEDs in the finder (so no need for external meters). The LEICA M6 is Leica's most advanced mechanical rangefinder camera.

You don't mention what the finder is (.72 or .85?) or whether shipping within EU is included in the price

Standard .72 viewfinder. It has 28mm frame lines.
About shipping costs within EU included in the price. I'm not sure. It bloody expensive sending stuff from Finland.
I can ship It with no cost in Scandinavia but otherwise I can offer a flat rate of 20€ For the rest of Europe. The camera price is quite low already.
