I took a chance on some from China and it arrived today. Anyone know what film this is? Vintage 12/22.

Old wine in new bottles most likely.
Guess Superia 400 or Ultramax is cheaper?

'Escura' is the film/camera branding used by a Hong Kong-based company called 'Carbon'. They offer an instax camera as well as a Hasselblad back and various 'designer' 35mm (reusable?) disposables.

The C-41 film is most certainly an Alaris/Eastman re-can, judging from the rest of the offerings on their page. Maybe the rebate will offer a clue.

their instant camera is interesting--instax mini, but no battery? I imagine hand crank to push the film through the rollers, but what about exposure? The specs show a limited aperture range (ƒ12-ƒ16) but nothing on shutter.

There is some selling the film for $50 per roll. I didn’t pay that much for it.

I need better weather and some color before I give it a try.

I actually saw this film on Instagram about a month ago. Took about two weeks to get here from China.
