Has anyone had luck installing the Canon 'ES-E1 EOS Link Software' on a Windows 7 computer (the software is used to remotely connect to a Canon EOS-1V body to personalise and download shooting data)? The ES-E1 software loads fine on my Win 7 PC but the driver can't be installed, and I can't find one, so I can't use it. Here's hoping someone knows a solution (that doesn't involve building a Windows XP computer!).
A quick Google suggests it's not a thing without creating Windows XP emulation windows etc. etc. which frankly seems too hard.
