Longer explanation is: Normal shooting lenses are corrected to perform their best at normal shooting distances, like 2 meters to infinity. When printing you want to have a lens which is corrected for normal enlarging distances. This because the normal situation is that you want as much detail in your print as possible, which a shooting lens cannot give you at that short distance.
