Hello APUG!

This is my new lens, rare find mrs.Google said...But is this lens really "Holy grail of speed lenses" as somebody wrote? Or this statement stays for all Ernostars? Any info?

I had no time to make some images with it yet.. But I have checked and It can cover full plate (with a very discrete fall off).

Best regards,
Ugo Dap.

The lens Vademecum seems to back up the claim. The Ernostar was the first of long line of lens designs that were both fast and sharp. It says the 2.7 is still "'amazingly good'" and "is a really attractive lens even today."

The Vademecum speaks only of the 7.5 cm and an 11 cm in f2.7, however, not an 18cm.
