Epson V600 Photo Scanner

Had this scanner for years and only just started using. (long story) Anyway, just started scanning color photos and scanner does excellent job. But after I scan a photo, the scanner dialog box disappears, and I have to double click the desktop scanner icon again to scan the next photo. I've checked the manual and can't find any reference to how to scan many photos in one sitting without having to click the desktop icon to scan each photo. Any assistance would be appreciated.

In addition to the advice offered above (through Reddit), you could try a 3rd party app for scanning prints. I find NAPS2 to work well for batch scanning. It's free. https://www.naps2.com/

Don't use the desktop scan icon? Use the scan button inside the Epsonscan program once it's open.
