Hello:

Well I am having some trouble scanning some negatives with my Epson V500. I took a few moon photos so the negative looks like there is a black dot in the middle of the frame. When I try to scan them using my Epson V500 the images do not show up in the "preview" screen.

Is there any way I can force the scanner to scan the entire negative strip instead of allowing it to pick and choose what it "sees?"

Thanks!

May I politely suggest that you post this on DPUG.org, APUG's sister site. Scanning issues are not really discussed on APUG.

No problem, I didn't really know what subforum to put this in because this is such an analog based site. Thanks for the heads up!
