Epson V370 scan lines

Hello, i have recently bought an Epson V370 Scanner for scanning 35mm film i know that is not one off the better scanners but it has one feature that i want, the automatic film loader. The scanner works it scans but all the scanned images have horizontal or vertical lines. I have tried Epson Scan and Vue Scan the same problem. The problem persist even when i scan a normal document. The first photo is a negative bw scanned with the auto film loader, the second is a page from a magazine scanned on the scanner bed. I mention that i don't have the original power supply, i am using an after market one.. If anyone has encounter the same problem or knows a fix for it, i will be grateful

The zoomed-in snippet towards the end of your post suggests that the scans suffer from a very high amount of noise. Since you mention you're using this scanner with an aftermarket power supply, my first question would be whether the problem existed also when the unit was still used with the original power supply.

Thank you for the reply, i suspected that the power supply might have to do with it. i will try to find an original one and i will reply if the problem persists.
