Epson ink question

Hi,

I'm using PDN now with my Epson 1280 and getting very smooth toned positives on OHP for my photo gravures. I bought a new ink cartridge online, which was supposed to be Epson brand. I just got the cartridge, and it does seem to be Epson brand, BUT the packaging states it's for use in China, and much of the printing on the box is Chinese. Has anyone had any experience with these inks, and are they really the same ( in regard for making inkjet neg/pos for alt processes), as what is made for the American market?

I'm going to do an exposure test today to check the densities, but I thought I might get some insight here first.

Hi Tom, I finally got to test the new ink cartridge, and I'm happy to report that they were exactly the same. I hope I won't have trouble getting those inks for the 1280 now that it's been canned.
