So I was not expecting to get this baby so soon but found a deal I couldn't reject and I have the printer seating in my desk, I have to say that it is bigger than what I was expecting, and heavy! The seller did a nozzle check and a test print at his house and everything came clear, but he suggested to do another one at my house in case something happened during the commute by car.

Where do I start? I've look at the Center for Alternative Processes here in NYC but no DN workshops, does anyone knows who teaches DN workshops in New York City?

Any other advice on how to use the printer will help, I am really new on printing in general.
Thanks,
Jaime.

Hi Jaime

You can find a lot of good reading by trolling the internet and searching forums. This will get you started with the 3800:

And Clay Harmon's pdf on digital negatives with QTR gives a good idea what's involved, whether you use that or another system. There's a link in his post here:

Once you read a bunch and try some stuff you'll have specific questions, I'm sure.

Best, Ben
