I'm having trouble with my epson 3800. It makes noise like it's printing but it doesn't print anything. According to the manual my heads are clogged(possibly) but it won't let me run the head cleaner because my ink cartridges are too low. Is there anyway to remedy this without buying all new ink??? All my cartridges are low but I know i can still get plenty of prints before replacement. Or am I just screwed?
Thanks,
John

Well I guess I may be screwed. I talked to epson today, and my warranty through them is out, although if it weren't they;d replace it they said, as they claim it doesn't like the problem is with clogged heads. I do have an extended warranty through newegg, which uses a company called service.net. who won't answer the phone due to inclimate weather in indiana. From google searches it seems that this company is kind of lame, and if they do take any action to fix my printer it will take forever, and I won't get that refurb printer with new ink from epson that I was going to get... It sucks especially since I'm trying to get various portfolios together...
