Hoping for some advice?
I am using an Epson 3800 and discovered that the longest print that can be produced on this printer (without additional RIP) is 95cms. I also gather that in order to achieve this size print I can use the rear feeder. My question is this ... do I use a sheet of paper cut from a roll to print on? Any help???

Paul,

As you note the longest print possible using the Epson 3800 driver is 37.4 inches - 95 cm.

The only way to circumvent this is to use a RIP.

I cut my sheets from a roll, though I never print longer than 37.4 for color. I keep meaning to test the Color Burst RIP for the 3800. A fully feature trial version is available and works for 15 days. The full version isn't cheap.

QTR is available for B&W of course for $50.

Thanks Don. I am happy to keep my prints to 95cms maximum - digital scanning/printing workflow is still new and RIPs scare me!!
If I plan on using a sheet cut from a roll of paper what settings do I need to use? I use "Rear Feed" but when it comes to size of media I'm a but stumped.
