EOS1000-Leitz Hektor to EF Adapter 3D Printed-Mirror Flipped up-Battery Low

We bought 3d print file from cults , an M39 to EF mount adapter . We printed it with PETG and adapted the adapter on EOS 1000 ANALOG. I screwed the Leitz Hektor 135mm to adapter and I lost infinity focus but only close range portrait option. I set the camera to manual mode and pressed the button , mirror flipped up and battery said its empty and camera frozen. I changed to canon ef 35-80 lens and battery worked after remove and reinstall the battery pack. What should I do ?

So, you put in known fresh batteries? Did any small pieces of plastic get into the camera mirror assembly (

I bought batteries one week ago fresh , it works with ef 35-80 but refused to work with adapter. No plastic extra.

Good news , I attached the adapter to EOS 1000 but not turned it more than its stop at the ef mount and it worked. Problem solved , thank you.
