I know the Pentax MZ-S will embed exposure info in the rebate area of the film (shutter speed, aperture, metering mode, etc). Do any EOS Cameras do this? I think it's such a wonderful feature, being able to save exposure info directly on the negative.
I ask about EOS because that's the brand of SLR I am invested in, but do any other brands have cameras that do this?
The 1v stores the info in camera that needs clunky outdated software to access.
I'm not aware of any other EOS FILM camera that does this.
There are more choices with medium format.
The mamiya 645 af/d can write data to the neg as well as the Contax 645.
Probably more choices but this is all I am familiar with.
The Hasselblad H1 does record info as well ( I used to have one )
I wouldn't mind it if my 1N had that ability, but I'm ok not knowing what my exposures were, it's never mission critical when I'm shooting film anymore. Digital is another matter.
