Enlarging for the first time! - The "noob's" call for help.

If you look on E-Bay there is a fellow in Grand Rapids, MI. that has almost everything for finishing in his garage, basement and all closets. He is "Roblun" as the seller. I have gotten a few things from hiim. Since he is close I save shipping and just stop by his place.

Thank you for the references! I've contacted both sellers to purchase the lensboard and the 35mm carrier.

Here's a list of what I've accumulated:
enlarger, easel, lensboard, lens, and carrier

I'm guessing the only things I need now are the trays and timer. Is there something I'm forgetting?

you mentioned the multigrade filter set, and I've been looking long and hard for a set for the lpl 4550 xlg to no avail. Is cutting the Ilfords the only choice I have?

The multigrade settings are built into the head in your enlarger if it has the VCCE head.

Thank you again for all your help! To give you an update, I've officially emptied by wallet and I have everything minus the timer. If you want to guide me through this last one that'd be spectacular. Gralab? LPL? What works well with the 4550 xlg?
