Enlarger Lenses?

What is your quuestion, Dennis?

As the esteemed Anscojohn sez, wadda ya wanna know? Use 50mm lens for 35mm film, 80-90mm for6x6, 90-105mm for 6x7, etc. Generally, you use the focal lenght to enlarge that matches the normal taking lens for whatever the format that you are using.

I'm guessing, but I'd say you want to know about film format and lens coverage. Use the same 'normal' focal length (or longer) on the enlarger as you use on your camera.

If you want lower grade lens for your enlarger, one can often be found on APUG for free or close to free.

If you are going to print 35mm films, typically you'd use 50mm lens
If you are going to print medium format (645) then, you'd want 75 or 80mm lens
Most common types are called "Leica mount" and the hole is 39mm in diameter

For small size enlargements, (8x10) quality of the lens won't make that much difference.

This pretty much it up, sorry i wasnt more detailed in my question. thanks guys!
