Has anyone come across a good English language overview / review of the SPUR developers, aside from the manufacturers' information? I ask as they seem to be offering various "magic bullets" but I understand SPUR have a very good reputation in Germany.

This might help: https://photo.imx.nl/Film/styled-41/

I remember he wrote a rather long article specifically on Spur Acurol-N, but I can't find it at the moment; it might be somewhere on his site. Don't know about any "magic bullet", but Acurol-N is, by far, my preferred developer for EFKE 25.

Tom try the Onlinedarkroom run by Bruce Robbins who was a Spur fan and look at the reviews section

Their website meanwhile got quite clear and one can at least at one glance see what they offer.

Of course there remains the issue at least I got with most manufacturers of developers, that after looking through the range of products and their description one is more or less confused.

(Kodak got their "Matrix", but still got the concentrations wrong.)
