emulsions suitable for image transfer

Hi folks, I have not made an image transfer for a couple of years, I previously
used 10x8 polaroid but its a bit scarce and cost prohibitive so I'll make do with smaller stock.Which emulsion is best 669 or 690?

these films are no longer produced, altho, you may find some lurking about.

you will need to check out fuji films , the technique is a little different.

There's an instructional news release on Fuji's website from about October or so of last year. It describes how the image transfer and the emulsion lift are done using their products. The big difference in the image transfer is that you have to do it in the dark.

They're availible in most shops in Dublin anyways, not so sure of Wicklow, but Gunn's, Conn's & ISS usually have a fair stock of them.

if you google Cable Release, you may find an article about how to use the fuji film. very dim light will do, but the paper may need to be different.
