..maybe to a better place..

Just to let you know, in case you wondered... My choise.

I'll see if I can make another one...

You are a very creative person and photographer -- I hope we can have access to your photographs again.

If this was your own free choice and if this means you'll have more time for taking & printing photographs, then I'm happy for you.
If not, but circumstances forced you to do so, then I'm sorry for you.

I hope all is well and good health for you and your family.

thanks all

Domain name is still mine - I had to ask the host to put it down as I couldn't get access to it my self... (their fault) - and circumstances had made me want to remove certain sets of images....

Well - I couldn't so now the old beast is gone...

I will try if I can make a new one... (but to my recollection it takes for ever.. )

both of you have very inspirational websites i have visited often, ( i wondered what happened to yours ralph! )
i hope you get them up again sometime soon, cause ...
live is too short not to see great photography ...!

gandolfi/emil ?

Anyone know what has happened to Gandolfi / Emil? His website emilschildt.com first went down and is now japanese. Hope he's OK - Inspiring photog!!

Google translate says his former site is a matchmaking site for men. Could not find any recent mention of him having problems or issues. But also nothing directly from him, either.

His site is gone on his decision.

He seems to be around on facebook.

still posts regularly at lfpf

I get a 401 error when I try to visit the website. Go figure.

Too true. I recall that I used to "download" webpages I wanted to keep, only to find that now I have a hard time getting them to open. Maybe modern software has passed these by. I'm speculating, but maybe the best way is to cut and paste the info into a WORD, TextEdit/Notepad (e.g., simple), or PDF document, as I imagine computers will retain some residual ability to open those documents for many years to come.
