The Busch Douple Lens were sold for taking and projection work. The modell V were the smaller version of it. Not so fast but with a large image circle.
I never testet how large it realy is but I used the lens in the 8x10“ format as a portrait lens and a long focus lens in landscape.
It is the perfect compagnen with field cameras because of the low weight and the small size.
The lens is mounted in a good working and synchronised Compound III shutter.
It has speeds in the range of 1-1/100 sec, B & T.
So it can be use with flash lights as well.
For 8x10“ the 550mm (22“) are a great focus length for portraits and f/12 is good enough for separating the objects out of the rear.
The glass of the lens is clean and clear and it has the typical Petzval design, the cemented group in the front and two single elements in the rear.
The shutter has a matching aperture scale.
It is not a very fast lens but it can be focus very easy on the groundglass. It is brighter than f/9 Apo repro lenses because of the thin glasses of the Petzval design and longer focus lenses are allways better and easier to focus than shorter lenses.
I ship from Germany, worldwide. The lens is a part of my own collection. It is a unique lens, no other of it is known.
Payment via PayPal.
Price is 279 Euros + the shippig costs in a DHL parcel.
