So I have some old super 8 film that is process EM-25 that I have been noodling with. I understand that this film emulsion isn't hardened. I have no interest in sourcing the formalin for the hardener since the film is probably no good and this is just for funsies anyhow. I was going to run it through at room temperature but then an idea dawned on me, could I use lith developer for the first development? I have read that this has hardener mixed in already. I have seen pretty good results with Ektachrome G and a high contrast developer utilized for the first developer. Anyway it's probably crazy but thought I would ask.
Thanks,
B.
