elements 11 crashing

Elements 11 crashing

I have Elements 11 on my windows 10 operating system., Running black and white test prints of a duplicate copy of a negative doing contrast and highlight adjustments on an epson 1430.The program will suddenly switch to a blank layers panel and hang. I can't close it no matter what and am forced to kill the program with task manager. At first I thought I was doing something wrong but it is a consistent problem and I am beginning to think it is the program it self. Is Elements 11 itself buggy?

Did you operate it on a previous Windows and the problem occurs with Windows 10? I have a auto copying program that hangs up my entire computer when I upgraded to Windows 10 but never did that on Windows 8. I'd check with Adobe. You might have to upgrade to their latest Elements, I think it's up to 14 or 15. Good luck.

PS I'm running Elements 12 on my Windows 10 and have no problems.

I'm running Elements 9 on Win10 with no problem.
But then I am not printing out of Elements.
