Can the EL-Nikkor 75 f/4 cover a 6x7 negative?

The 75/f4 is distinctly out of character with most other El Nikkors. First, there's a focus shift issue until you're one stop down. Second, yeah you could hypothetically use it for 6X7, but the image corners won't be as sharp as the central part. It's basically a bargain lens, and I personally use it only for 35mm film, which needs only the center portion of the optic; and the 75 give you a lot more dodge & burn relief space than the usual 50mm lens for 35 film does. So I recommend the 75/f4 in that respect. The significantly more expensive 80/f5.6 lens is a lot more realistic for anything med format; but I personally prefer a 105 (currently an Apo Rodagon N, but in the past, other brand 105's).

Wait, I have the 80mm f5.6… I just forgot because I don’t have the stupid adapter ring that it usually comes with, so I can’t use it… lol
