EL-Nikkor 50mm 2.8 on Meopta Axomat 4a

I have an old Meopta Axomat 4a with an Anaret 50/4.5 that I intend to replace with the Nikon lens.

Now the newbie (stupid) question; Is there any way of fitting the Nikon lens to my enlarger since the thread size (and lens) is a lot bigger than that of my Anaret lens.

Unfortunately there are different thread sizes (basically two common ones for these shorter lenses if I remember right) and you need the larger one if you want to fit the Nikkor lens on the Axomat 4.
Actually I had exactly that setup when I started a long time ago. Unfortunately I don't have any lensboards that will fit an Axomat.
You can either keep looking for one (I would say that some kind soul here at apug might have one), you can make one if you are good with a lathe (the threads require some skill) or you can try to find another enlarger if you want to use the Nikkor.

Arzon, as far as I know, the EL-Nikkor 50mm f/2,8 you have uses the M39 mount and you probably have the 23,5mm mount at your enlarger. This is probably what you need. It seems to be a lens board with M39 mount for your enlarger.

Thank you very much. I am also hunting for it at eBay but it seems I can't find any (or I am not looking hard enough). At least now I know what it should look like.

I have no idea. If you can't find anything, making one in a machine shop is probably your best choice, as Jesper said earlier.

Went through some boxes today and came up with a spare lens board with 39mm thread. I have verified it with a Nikkor 50/2.8.
I am not sure if it fits the Axomat, but the odds are pretty good as I remember the size.
